Oxford World Encyclopedia is the first in a new series of reference works from Oxford University Press, featuring iFinger's software, which allows the easy access to electronic reference works.
Pop Up Oxford World Encyclopedia installs to your hard drive and runs in the back-ground on your PC, so you can consult it whenever you want, with no fuss and no waiting. As you build your library from Oxford, you build a fully integrated reference source. Any iFinger products when installed on the same Windows system, will search through all installed reference titles with a click of a mouse button, or when you roll over a word in the Web browser.
The iFinger engine is user-friendly and unobtrusive. It runs seamlessly in the background when you start Windows.
When activated, simply point you cursor over a word in your web browser,a nd the results from the quick reference will appear instantly in a pop-up window. (You can also double-click or configure a custom hot key). The pop-up window gives you a summary of the complete listing -- hit the Down Arrow and the rest of the information appears instantly in the Article Window. You can then copy information from the listing to any Windows application.
Essential text-based resource for home, school or libraries. Pop Up Oxford World Encyclopedia . .
